Kuya Daniel Razon-Hosted “Serbisyong Kasangbahay” Brings an OFW Home

Arturo Cabilin Jr., an overseas Filipino worker (OFW) in Muhail, Saudi Arabia, is finally home with the help of UNTV News & Rescue’s “Serbisyong Kasangbahay” program hosted by Kuya Daniel Razon.

This was after his wife asked the program’s help since the complaint filed on May 25, 2016 before the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) Repatriation Unit was not immediately given action.

Cabilin experienced harassment from his employer who promised him to pay 2,600 Saudi Riyal (roughly PhP32,000) every month as auto electrician. As opposed to the contract, he was given uncertain amount of monthly pay. He also worked alone in the auto shop with no tools to use. Worst part, he was denied to go home and was even sold to another employer.

After more than half a year in the Middle East, Cabilin was reunited with his family. On August 2, 2016, he appeared on Serbisyong Kasangbahay to personally thank Kuya Daniel Razon and his program for the swift action in bringing him home.

Kuya Daniel, who is also known as Mr. Public Service through his many public service efforts through UNTV News and Rescue, greeted Mr. Arturo and his family with well wishes. The seasoned broadcaster also thanked God for the opportunity to help.

Serbisyong Kasangbahay airs Monday to Friday, 4:30-5:30 p.m. The program is simulcast on UNTV-Radio La Verdad 1350.
