Alongside its international showing, the film is also scheduled for showing in different cities and provinces in the Philippines.

Isang Araw is the second installment of Kuya Daniel’s directorial film debut, Isang Araw Lang, which was released in the big screen and through different forms of digital media in 2009. Like his first movie, Kuya Daniel also wrote, directed, and starred Isang Araw.

Isang Araw: The Story

Four years after the highly-acclaimed Isang Araw Lang, its sequel continues the inspiring story of an ex-police officer turned humble jeepney driver (portrayed by Kuya Daniel) who supports a local orphanage and union of drivers and operators amidst repeated afflictions from a corrupt society.

Viewed by its casts and viewers as a one-of-kind, non-conventional movie, Isang Araw is summed up to the conviction that “in the end, it’s God’s justice that prevails.”

New casts include noted stars Jackie Lou Blanco, Daria Ramirez, Pinky Amador, and Ritz Azul. Action stars Jess Lapid, Jr., Ricardo Cepeda, and Brandon Legaspi are great additions to the action scenes while comedians Bayani Agbayani, Lou Veloso, and Dinky Doo’s roles bring big laughs to the viewers.

Also seen in the movie is the great acting of Toby Alejar, Jeffrey Santos, Kier Legaspi, Eagle Riggs, and UNTV’s Rep. Erin Tañada, Atty. Regie Tongol, and Louella de Cordova. Kuya Daniel’s wife, Mrs. Arlene Razon, also made her first acting in a movie.

Isang Araw Part 3

In an interview with UNTV reporter during the Hong Kong premiere, Kuya Daniel disclosed that the film will be going to have a third installment and that it will incorporate more moral values.

The (Part 3) will have a deeper plot and will have more characters. Of course, we are expecting that it will have a better scope of production; that we will improve every aspect that we can improve God willing,” the filmmaker revealed.
