The film’s director, writer and main actor, Kuya Daniel Razon, turned up to attend the movie’s premiere at the Tribute Communities Recital Hall, which was a big bonus among fans and supporters.

The UNTV-BMPI CEO and President has quite a following as the Filipino community in both Canada and North America surprised him with a warm welcome at the Pearson International Airport.

Warm Reception

Despite the long drives from nearby Canadian cities and the US, supporters and fans were unfazed and filled the venue to watch the Toronto screening of the movie.

One of them is Ms. Abi Valdez, who took a 10-hour drive from the San Francisco Bay Area to secure a seat at the film showing.

Expressing that they enjoyed and learned a lot from the first two parts of Isang Araw movie remarked that they promised not to miss out on the third installment.

Toronto-based RTJ Production’s RJ Teodoro expressed his admiration for the film’s content.

“There were a lot of Filipino, common sense and Christian values found in the film. It’s the right way to teach people about values, because some of us have lost our “hearts. We just concentrate on earning money and forget about life,” Teodoro said.

“This movie has a lot of that sense. There’s realization and it will leave you slack-jawed thinking that I should have that value at least. The film will definitely help the future generation.” he added.

Viewers of the advocacy film concur that people should watch this kind of film. They admired not just because the film was made technically, but on its relevance in reminding Filipinos about the important values this generation gradually losing but can still be regained.
