MANILA, Philippines (February 25, 2010) – The redesigned Danielrazon.com officially launches today. Kuya Daniel Razon’s site highlights Mr. Public Service’s numerous humanitarian works and commitment for the human rights of journalists.

On the new website, online visitors can get tons of inspiration from Razon’s early life as a persevering working student earning a degree in Communication Arts to his successful professional careers and public service endeavors for more than 25 years.

For supporters following his activities, the news section of the site serves as the online resource for fresh updates and information on the humanitarian works of their favorite Kuya (big brother).

Since Razon is also known for his numerous benefit exhibits and award-winning photographs, visitors can view their online version in the site’s multimedia gallery. Music albums and event photos of his numerous public service undertakings are also housed in the said section.

Now, Razon’s followers on the micro-blogging Twitter can see his latest tweets on the redesigned website. To date, his most recent inspirational message to all Tweeps (Twitter people) – “Inspiration and motivation … look straight ahead and see the reason … in this life we have a mission … fill our hearts with pure intentions.”

In related recent development, the Shorty Awards announced the name of Daniel Razon among six international journalists who will vie for the Best Journalist title in the Twitter awards. Razon is now regarded as the first Filipino journalist nominated in this prestigious award-giving body.

According to the Shorty Awards website, winners will be determined by a combination of popular votes and the adjudication of the members of the new Real-Time Academy of Short Form Arts & Sciences. Winners will be declared on March 3 at the Times Center of the New York Times Building. The New York-based Shorty Awards is considered by The New York Times as the Oscars for Twitter writers.

Danielrazon.com is a consistent People’s Choice (2004-2009) and Best Celebrity Website (2007) awardee in the Philippine Web Awards.
