In celebration of his 27th year of service to God and humanity, broadcast journalist Daniel Razon has chalked up 27 major milestones.

Daniel Razon and his home station, UNTV, bagged the awards for Best TV Public Service Host and Best Public Service Channel in the last People’s Choice Awards.

When a veteran broadcaster and the newly-appointed media censorship board chair chatted together on national TV, it wasn’t surprising to find that they had a lot of similar ground to cover: youth empowerment.

Just four months after he launched Tulong Muna Bago Balita (Rescue First Before News), broadcast journalist Daniel Razon heightened UNTV’s pioneering news advocacy with 15 new, news and rescue mobile units. These were unveiled last November 28, 2010 during the celebration of Kuya Daniel’s 27th year of service to God and humanity at Esplanade, Mall of Asia in Pasay City, Philippines.
