In an interview with reporters, PUP President Dr. Dante Guevarra said in the vernacular, “We chose Kuya Daniel as guest speaker and honored him a Doctor of Humanities, Honoris Causa, not only because of his excellence in broadcast journalism but also for his charities to the Filipino citizens.”

PUP Board of Regents and Faculty Members conferred on Daniel Razon the doctorate degree in Humanities, Honoris Causa, before the university’s more than 6,000 Cluster A graduates.

“We thank the PUP administration headed by Dr. Guevarra and all the members of the Board of Regents for recognizing what we have done and what we are doing. But, just as what we always emphasized, the glory is not ours but of God, we are only His humble instruments,” Razon said.
