Daniel Razon Selected as Speaker for Digital Asia Expo and Confab 2014

Daniel Razon, one of the locally-known digital media trailblazers, was selected to be one of the key resource speakers in the upcoming 2014 Digital Asia Expo and Conference (DAX) on May 29-31 this year.

Digital Asia Expo will be held at the SMX Convention Center, SM Mall of Asia in the Philippines.

One of the innovative projects introduced by Kuya Daniel through UNTV was the use of drone technology for media and rescue operations since 2013. This was part of his news-and-rescue advocacy, “Tulong Muna Bago Balita” (Rescue First Report Later).

“Tulong Muna” was introduced in 2010 as the new journalism model of UNTV. Kuya Daniel is Chairman and CEO of Breakthrough and Milestones Productions International (BMPI), the content provider company for UNTV.

According to its website, the 2014 Digital Asia Expo and Conference will highlight the emergence of digital media displays and invite local and international experts in the digital media industry.

Globaltronics, the leading digital advertising company in the country, will co-present the conference.

Forums on the advent of trends and revolutionary technologies in advertising and communications will be the main agenda of the forum. Digital Asia is also an important platform in furthering business opportunities and improve the significant role of technology in the ASEAN marketplace.

Kuya Daniel was hailed as Outstanding Journalist and Public Servant in the 33rd Dangal ng Bayan Awards. His other awards include The Ultimate Luminary of Do More Awards in 2013, the Golden Screens TV Awards 1st Outstanding News Presenter, The Outstanding Philippine Leadership Excellence (TOP Leap) Award in Philanthropy in 2011, among many others.
